
Stop Throwing Away Your Bathroom Heaters
Most bathroom infrared heaters are basically disposable. They’re built as these sealed-off boxes, which sounds fine until a heating element burns out five years down the road. Then what? You’re stuck throwing the whole damn thing in the trash just because one little part quit on you. We thought that was a waste. So, we did things differently with our mirror infrared modules. Instead of gluing everything together, we treated the heating lamp like a lightbulb—something you just swap out when it’s done.
The “Plug-and-Play” Way
Here is how it actually works: we used standardized connectors instead of hard-wiring the elements into the circuit board. It’s a huge deal. When a tube finally gives up, you don’t have to rip your mirror off the wall or spend your entire Saturday taking the housing apart. You just pop a clip, pull the old tube out, and slide a new one in. It turns a two-hour nightmare into a five-minute job.
Keeping Things Cool
Infrared tubes get hot. Really hot. If they’re sitting too close to the reflective backing of a mirror, they can actually warp the material. To stop that from happening, we designed the mounting brackets to keep a very specific gap between the heat and the glass. It keeps the mirror safe and the heat where it belongs. One quick heads-up, though. Because we made the system modular, the unit is a few millimeters thicker than a sealed one. Just make sure you have that extra bit of breathing room in your wall or ceiling cutout before you install it.
Built for the Long Haul
Bathrooms are brutal on electronics. Between the steam and the constant temperature swings, metal contacts love to corrode. That’s why we used corrosion-resistant terminals. We want to make sure that when you go to replace a tube in 2029, the connectors actually slide apart instead of being rusted shut. It’s a simple philosophy: keep the expensive chassis, swap the cheap tube. It just makes sense.
