The quartz tubes let the internal filament hit peak temperature almost the second you flip the switch. No more staring at a preheating light. The IR waves hit the crust and the cheese immediately. You’re heating the pizza, not the empty space around it, which keeps your energy bills from spiking.
The Nitty-Gritty on Materials
We stick with high-purity quartz glass because it lets the most IR light through. Depending on what you’re reheating, we can even add specific coatings to the tubes. This helps the heat soak deep into the dough so you don’t end up with a burnt surface and a cold center. Installation is a breeze, too. We usually go with standard R7s or SK15 connectors, so they just drop right in. As long as your wiring gauge matches the wattage, you won’t have to worry about the sockets getting too hot.
A Few Things to Keep in Mind
Now, there is a catch. These high-wattage elements pack a punch, and they can be hard on a basic control system. If you try to run these on a simple mechanical timer, you’re going to have a bad time.
